South Central American Society of Biomechanics Meeting

We would like to invite you to the annual South Central American Society of Biomechanics Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, 2014.

This year, we are pleased to have Dr. Ron Davis, Professor of Adapted PE/Activity at Texas Woman’s University as our keynote speaker on Saturday morning. Dr. Davis’ research interests include fitness and exercise in individuals with disabilities, disability sport – athlete performance, classification and bone density changes for individuals with spinal cord injury. One of Dr. Davis’ recent projects – PROJECT INVEST – sponsors adapted sports programs for veterans, service members and their families.
